Cancellation /Refund Policy

Chapattis n Curries (CNC) welcome you to read our cancellation policy before you purchase a session as an, individual, group or event at your kitchen/venue.
Accidents and illnesses can happen without notice and we do understand this. However, as a business we cannot operate without ensuring it does not affect our working operations and thus have this policy. You may call or email us to explain; however, our policy remains as standard.

Cancellation by CNC
​Sometimes due to unforeseeable circumstances i.e. adverse weather conditions, venue issues or low numbers for the class to run. CNC hold the right to cancel your class session. This will be rescheduled from a list of dates for you to choose from. We know this is not ideal but we cannot run a class if it’s not viable for CNC.
If CNC cannot reschedule you, you are entitled to a full refund. We will issue this directly if purchased through the website or through CNC. However, if purchased through any deal sites, a refund will need to be sort through them and we will be happy to provide a confirmation email to support the refund.
Free cancellation/Full refund

CNC operates a 10-day free cancellation policy before the session starts. We will cancel your booking with a full refund or reschedule to another date of your choice.

Cancelling due to illness/unfortunate event
​Know one expects to be ill or have an unfortunate event at the time of booking. If you must cancel due to any illness or an unfortunate event; firstly, we are truly sorry this has happened. Again, the same will apply as above, 10 days before your booking. However, if you must cancel within the 10 days of your class date, we advise you try to sell/transfer/find a replacement for your booking to someone else friend/family etc. to avoid any wastage for you. You can then use the money to book another date when you are better.
Unfortunately, we will be unable to refund any cancellations you make due to illness or otherwise within 10 days before the class. This is due to us unable to fill the booking at such short notice. We end up losing out due to lower numbers and still paying for the venue any ingredients and planned workstations and equipment as well as administration of all the bookings. However, we can reschedule the booking for a fee of £45 per person.

Changing your booking date
​If you want to reschedule your booking after confirmation this will be for an additional administration fee of £45.00 pp. So, for two people it will cost £90.00 reschedule will only be allowed once. If this is required again, you could lose any bookings you have and will need to make full payment, for another booking.

Group bookings
​With all group bookings we require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit at the time of booking and the remainder on the Monday before the booking.
Any dropouts or non-attendees will still have to be paid for, as this is non-refundable.

None Attendance
​If you do not attend for whatever reason and did not inform CNC, there is nothing we can do about this as your place was planned and ingredients and venue costs paid for. Therefore, this will be non-refundable.

Refunds for class sessions
​We at CNC operate on a high standard to please you and to give you an enjoyable and unforgettable experience. We aim to please you with the knowledge we have and share with you tips and secrets as well as quick ways to achieve the right taste and cooking techniques, for your dish. We cannot guarantee your outcome or how you take the experience to your benefit, nor can we compare it to what you already know.
However, it’s a hands-on session and we aim to please. You will certainly return will your dishes you cooked. During the session, we encourage you to ask questions, and we will explain to you. If there is anything you want to learn from the class session, let us know before, so we can include this. We do not want you to leave without learning anything from us so we encourage at the beginning and the end, to ask whatever you like to know and we will be approachable before, during and after; via email, chat and during the session. There is NO REFUND for a session already attended.
